Description of Mission Work:

 

The week consisted of building on a new church from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and leading Vacation Bible School from 4:00 p.m. - 6 p.m., and participating in local church worship in the evening. We scheduled four days to work, 1.5 days for a Sabbath on the coast, and 1.5 days for travel.

Suggested “Pre-Reqs” for this trip:

 

A number of Spanish-speakers can help, but are not necessary. The labor can be very intensive, but there are all kinds of different tasks for people to do. We have had Christians at all different places and stages and all were positively impacted for Christ

Vaccinations, VBS preparation, and working together as a team (we did 6 weeks of pre-trip planning).

I have had many students who went back to work with Ray during the summer.

Ray knows how to host, organize, and lead a team. I felt completely comfortable with Ray’s leadership in Costa Rica.
