Day Thirty-Six (September 21st)
September 21st, 2009Father in heaven,
As did the prophet of old, we too have heard of your fame and stand in awe of your deeds.
We ask that you would renew them in our day, in our time make them known across each college campus in this nation.
We cry out for this generation, for those who don’t know you, who are lost, oppressed, afraid and alone. We confess that Jesus is their only hope. Apart from Him there is no hope. He is the only One who can save, redeem and restore the broken.
We ask that you would make known the name of Jesus across every college campus. We pray that every student would personally encounter Jesus and know that He is real; He is here; He loves and wants us all; and He will save, help and even heal those who cry out to Him.
We ask that this year your Kingdom would advance on every campus; that this would be a year of your favor; that salvation would come to many.
Father, give us your heart for the exiles on main street, for the lost and oppressed among us. Break our hearts as they break yours. Put in us your burden for them that we will give you no rest until your salvation has broken forth on every campus.
And we offer these prayers in the name of the One to whom the harvest belongs; it’s in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
