Lord God, in this moment we pause to give you thanks for the many Campus Ministries across this great country. We ask that you would encourage, inspire, and challenge the pastoral and student leaders within these ministries to reach across social and cultural barriers to effectively disciple the young people at our universities. We recognize that nobody is at one particular place in their walk with Christ and so we petition you to equip the leaders of these ministries to effectively reach students wherever they may or may not be in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We ask that you would help these ministries train up disciples for your Kingdom so that we can successfully reach more people with the gospel message. We pray that these young student leaders would not simply look out for their own spiritual growth, but would also actively seek to help other young people experience personal spiritual growth. We ask that you would remove any barriers that would prohibit one-on- one discipleship from being actively pursued and effectively carried out throughout the thousands of campuses in the United States. Amen.

Rev. Daniel Dennison, 28 years old, alumnus of the University of Oklahoma and was active in the OU Wesley Foundation while a student. Daniel came on staff full time upon graduation as the associate director at OU and did seminary part time while working at the Wesley. He was the associate for 6 years before becoming director in May of 2008. Daniel is married and expecting his first child in September.
