New Resources from The Ivy Jungle Network
September 8th, 2008From Evan Hunter, Ivy Jungle Network
We have promised two resources to you and now have them up on our website under the resources section.
Campus Ministry Survey Results
Thank you to all who took this year’s survey. This was our 4th survey this decade and has continued to help us track trends in campus ministry. You can click on the link below to read the executive summary of four trends that have emerged in campus ministry in the 2000’s.
In addition, you can download the survey results powerpoint. This contains both an analysis of the data as well has an appendix with helpful statistics on a variety of topics from challenges students face to average salaries, to ministry impact on campuses.
If the information is useful, please feel free to use it with your ministry, staff, and supporters.
Of Mice and Ministry: A look at the history and context of campus ministry
The second resource is an article called “Of Mice and Ministry.” This write up by Mike Woodruff traces the history and context of campus ministry in the US. This paper will likely both challenge and encourage you as a minister on campus.
We really do believe that the campus is a strategic fulcrum in society. This paper outlines a portion of the argument of why your work matters greatly in the Kingdom.
You have permission to use it within your ministries as well.
